A great high-end wine to drink NOW.

corteA2007

One of the best high-end Argentine reds you can enjoy today, without having to cellar it for years, is the 2007 Vistalba Corte A. Rated at 95 Points by Wine Enthusiast.

About $50, but scores similarly to the top $100 wines.

Wine Enthusiast says, drink this now, while it’s still great! Read the review and rating here:

In 2008 on a visit to Buenos Aires, I fell in love with the wines of Argentina and started a blog called MalbecsOnly.

When I returned home to the States, I decided my friends can always pick out a Napa cab, or the French wine, but that when I went shopping I would only buy Argentinean wines.

I figured, focusing on one thing would force me to learn about them. I’m no expert, but I’m an enthusiast, and here I share what I learn.

Argentina has changed, and there is a stunning diversity of wines coming out of the country now, in regions well beyond Mendoza and grapes well beyond Malbec.

So now, our name reflects what this blog really is: a celebration of ALL kinds of Argentine wine. We welcome your comments, lively discussion, and suggestions for story ideas.

Thanks for reading!    -Stephen Curry
